Bread Program
(Big changes will be in effect starting October 1, 2025, please read carefully). THERE WILL BE NO BREAD PICK UP ON FRIDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2025. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PICK UP BREAD THIS WEEK, PLEASE COME TO PATHWAY MINISTRIES. SERVICE STARTS AT 10AM AND YOU CAN PICK IT UP AFTER THE SERVICE. PATHWAY MINISTRIES IS LOCATED AT 701 1ST STREET EAST IN SASKATOON.

As part of the food and homemaking program, we are introducing our bread program. We offer free bread to low income families and individuals. We have the following types of bread available (please note, we cannot guarantee this bread will be available every Friday, as the bread is left over from a local bakery.):
White Bread
Whole Wheat Bread
Sour Dough Bread
Seeded Sour Dough Bread
High Fiber Bread
French Bread
Pizza Dough (baked)
Cinnamon Loaf
Fruit Loaf (like raisin bread, but with different fruits as well as raisins)
Croissants
Plain Bagels
Sesame Bagels
Everything Bagels
White Buns
Whole Wheat Buns
Buns with Everything Bagel Spice
Starting October 1, 2025, we are now going to be having bread to be a pick-up service only. There are a few reasons why we have changed this to pick up; one of them being, that we have had many deliveries in one day that it makes it hard to deliver all the bread before 10pm.
East Side Pick-up Instructions:
Call or text 306-850-4610 with your first, second, and third choice of bread for pick-up choices. Bread items you can choose from are noted above. Please note that we cannot guarantee the accuracy of your order because this is bread from a local bakery and we only have available what is left over at the end of the day. This is why we ask for three options for you to give us, so you at least get something that may be available. Pick-up will be at 24 Central Place. We will either be in the big blue bus or our white SUV (depending on the week-every second week) located in Saskatoon, SK from 7:30pm-7:45pm (the time will be extended, if we get more east side pick-ups) every Friday. If you would like first dibs on the bread available, it is best to let us know your pick-up order; otherwise, you will get what is available the day of pick-up. You are more than welcome to just come and pick-up at the pick-up location if you forgot to get your order in on time.
West Side Pick-up Instructions:
Call or text 306-850-4610 with your first, second, and third choice of bread for pick-up. Bread items you can choose from are noted above. Please note that we cannot guarantee the accuracy of your order because this is bread from a local bakery and we only have available what is left over at the end of the day. This is why we ask for three options for you to give us, so you at least get something that may be available. Pick-up will be at City Centre Church at the big blue bus or our white SUV (depending on the week-every second week) located at 720 20th Street West in Saskatoon, SK from 8:10pm-8:40pm every Friday. If you would like first dibs on the bread available, it is best to let us know your pick-up order; otherwise, you will get what is available the day of pick-up. You are more than welcome to just come and pick-up at the pick-up location if you forgot to get your order in on time.
Cut off for Pick-ups:
The cut off for pick-up orders that we will prepare as a first come first serve is 10pm the Thursday prior to the pick-up date. The only reason you would need to put your order in is if you wanted specific items for your order; otherwise, you can just come to one of the pick-up locations and get what we have available. This means that we need you to get ahold of us by either phone call or text message with your order or a reorder from the previous week by 10pm Thursday in order to get your pick-up ready for the next Friday. You can call or text any day to do this, even the day of your current pick-up.
