        Discipleship Training Program

This program will offer them the hope we all need in Jesus Christ. It will train and teach them the way to battle for things in prayer instead of the ways of the world (litigation, divorce, etc.). It will also teach them how to be a true followers of Jesus Christ through reading the word of God and following through in action and in deed. We encourage you to stop in at Pathway Ministries for Bible teaching straight from the Bible on Sundays at 10am at 701 1st Street East in Saskatoon.

Housing Program

There will be a variety of programs within this program including, but not limited to: flipping houses with a job training component, rent to own program, housing first program with a rent subsidy component, and community housing program which gives them an opportunity to be part of a community built strictly for the homeless and at risk of homelessness right on location that gives access to all of the programs.

Food and Homemaking Program

This program will allow the participants to be involved in many areas of food preperation inlcuding: planting seeds, watering, fertilizing, harvesting, washing, selling food, cooking, canning, baking, sewing, and more. There will also be a program within this program to help feed the orphan and the widow and offer cooked meals for the elderly and disabled. Right now we have an existing bread program, which is part of this program. We are blessed to serve the city of Saskatoon low income families with free bread deliveries every Friday.

Family Program

For any couples, mothers and children, fathers and children, or anyone that is in a family of any sort; this program will be a place where they can grow and train up to be the family God preplanned. Like the discipleship program, this will be geared on setting families on the right track by leading them into what God intended for families.

 

                     Job Skills Program

This program will be there to help people type their resumes, give them the knowledge and skills to make their own resume stand out and be a motivating place to guide them how to job hunt in today’s world. Job skills can be developed within the housing program, food program and clothing program. Within this program will be help for anything the participants may need to get a job, such as identification, a driver’s license, glasses, etc. We are hoping to have this program up and running by October 2025!

Finance Program

There will be many components in this program including: household budgeting, grants program for participants that are entrepreneurs to start their own business, budgeting for a business, learning how to do personal taxes, etc.

Rehab Program

This program will offer participants the ability to battle additions the Biblical way and that is through a surrendered life to God, to die to the flesh and give it to Him. There will be trained professional help available specific to this area. There will be counselling available and one on one help to guide them and keep them away from what is keeping them from being after God’s desires for our life; which is to love and be loved.

Call Centre

This will be a 24/7 call centre for anyone facing homelessness or is currently homeless.

Clothing Depot

This program will be a second hand store that is operated to help support programs and will also help cloth participants for free if they are in need. Washers and dryers will be available for free.

Hygeine Program

This program is intended to help those that need anything like haircuts, facials, foot care, hand care, etc. Some homeless have immediate needs such as sores on feet, skin infections, lice, etc. This program will address these types of needs and more, if needed. It is also for participants that want to know more about taking care of their personal hygeine.

Please note, we are a brand new organization that just incorporated in the summer of 2024. We will be offering the above programs as soon as we have the funds to do so. As of December 31, 2024, we have had three fundraisers. In 2025 we have been busy with the bus ministry and hope to have a new fundraiser in the fall of 2025.
